Moving to GITC Hosting with a .dk Domain

1. Start by searching for your domain on our website. This will show if the domain is available, and you can then order a transfer.
2. Always choose "WITH domain transfer," unless you pay for your domain through another provider, such as punktum.dk, and want to continue using it.
3. If you have multiple domains you want on the same account, they can be transferred/created afterward. Start by transferring one domain at a time.
4. If you already have a hosting account with us, simply log in and order the transfer of your .dk domain.

What happens when you order the transfer?

• Your hosting account is created (if you don't already have one) and prepared for the domain you've transferred to us.
• The domain registrant will be changed to us at punktum.dk, unless you've ordered without transferring the domain.
• The nameservers/DNS will not automatically change, so you can move your website with peace of mind before pointing the domain to us.
• You can also create a hosting account without transferring the domain to us and continue paying for the domain elsewhere, such as at punktum.dk.

When you're ready to use your hosting account

• Change the nameserver to point your domain to us. See how to do it here.
• After changing the nameserver, it may take up to 24 hours for your domain to point to us instead of your previous provider.
• You are now fully transferred to us.
